Activity description:

Through the Proclamation 04/2018 PROPESP / PROINTER, of the Support Program for Interinstitutional Cooperation (PACI), International Cooperation Subprogram, a partnership was established between Profa. Dr. Jovelina Maria Ramos de Souza, Graduate Program in Philosophy, Federal University of Pará, Coordinator of POIESIS - Research Group in Ancient Philosophy and Reception, and Prof. Dr Ioannis Petropoulos of the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) & Director of Center for Hellenic Studies-Greece, Harvard University / Professor Ancient Greek Literature, for the development of a joint project to be submitted to a development agency in 2019 entitled "The metaphor in Plato: between rhetorical and philosophical discourse".

Duration of the activity:

In progress. In December / 2018 Prof. Ioannis Petropoulos was in the UFPA, to consolidate the partnership and participate in the I International Colloquium Current Events of the Classics.

Activity Description:

Professor Ernani Pinheiro Chaves, from PPGFIL, through the Official Notice 05/2015 PROPESP / FADESP from the Program of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Support Program (PACI), managed to form a partnership in the area of ​​Contemporary Philosophy, with Professor Rodrigo Castro Orellana, from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.

Activity Description:

Professor Roberto de Almeida Pereira de Barros of PPGFIL has academic cooperation with the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Hildesheim and the Institute of Philosophy of the Technical University of Berlin, both located in Germany. He is the local coordinator of an agreement already signed between the University of Hildesheim and UFPA. In the second Semester of 2014, three German students attended classes in the Undergraduate Philosophy course.

Activity Description:

PPGFIL has a partnership with the Social Sciences Graduate Program (PPGSS) of UFPA, through professors Pedro Paulo da Costa Corôa, tenured professor of the PPGS, and Ernani Pinheiro Chaves, who worked for 10 years as a professor in that Program.

Activity Description:

Professor Ernani Pinheiro Chaves is responsible for the interaction of PPGFIL with the Anthropology Graduate Program (PPGA), UFPA, where he works as a tenured professor. On this relation we can point out that Professor Ernani was linked to the Anthropology Group of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH), UFPA, since the creation of the Master's degree in Anthropology in 1994. He teaches disciplines and advises Master dissertations and Doctorate theses in the Program, besides participating in academic events in the area. Also participates in a project of the National Program of Academic Cooperation (PROCAD) involving the National Museum, linked to the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Professor Ernani Pinheiro Chaves develops extension activities, participation in events, boards and publications, with Research Groups of other Graduate Programs, such as the "Nietzsche" Study Group, linked to the Philosophy Graduate Program, of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR); Group of Studies "Nietzsche", linked to the Philosophy Graduate Program of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); Research Group "Critique of Modernity", linked to the Philosophy Graduate Program of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP); Research Group on Aesthetics, linked to the Philosophy Graduate Program of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). The activities developed in these Groups are related to the Research on Nietzsche. Professor Ernani is one of the editors of the magazine "Estudos Nietzsche" (Qualis B3), of the WG Nietzsche of ANPOF. Abroad he develops activities as a member of the "Nietzsche-Gesellschaft", based in Naumburg, where he participates in the activities of the Society.
